    Default Fade-in duration in fadeinslideshow

    1) Script Title: Ultimate Fade-In Slideshow (v1.51):

    2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...nslideshow.htm

    3) Describe problem: Not a problem (except with my client) BUT

    He would like the *fade-in process to take longer* (not the pause when the image is fully displayed). I've looked at the code, but can't really see where this happens. I'm pretty sure there is a way to control the duration of the fade-in process, but it is certainly beyond my very limited skills.

    BTW -- I think this is a flawless script and I was extremely happy to find it.

    Thanks for any help.

    Sure, there are two ways to affect the fade duration actually. Firstly, find the below line:

    Code:
    if (obj.degree<100){
    obj.degree+=10
    And change the 10 to something like 5. If that's still not enough, find the below line as well:

    Code:
    fadeclear[this.slideshowid]=setInterval("fadepic(fadearray["+this.slideshowid+"])",50)
    And change the 50 to a larger number like 100.
