Script on how to use wheel mouse to scroll inside a scrolling window

I am trying to figure out how to be able to use the mouse wheel to scroll text in a scrolling window in addition to using the scroll bar. I have seen it done where you just click inside the window and you can use your wheel on your mouse to scroll but can't find script to make it work. Please help!!!

Well, in most cases, the wheel sends similar commands to the up and down arrow keys. So, if your scroller is sensitive to those it will scroll with the wheel. One way is to use a scroller that utilizes an iframe, another is to have one that utilizes the 'overflow:scroll' css property. Many scrollers will respond to the mouse wheel, no special code needed. What scroller do you have that is not?
