Creating Columns?

Hello,

I am brand new to CSS and have no idea how to create columns. I have found an almost-perfect css template I would like to use but it has 2 columns, whereas I need 3 (to make it look like a blog). If you have the time can you please help me out??

yes, it had the css with the template- I have experimented with it but have been unable to create another column. I don't know any css- just html.
