    Default Marking thread as closed

A simple question, the answer I am sure is available on this site but I cannot find it.

I have posted a few questions and received replies. How do I remove the thread to save people the time and trouble answering questions to problems that have been resolved.

    Thanking you in advance...

The thread(s) should remain so that others might find help for a similar problem.

You should make a "final post" saying thank you for the help and that it now works. If you found the way on your own, or another way you should post that as well, so that others behind you can know how you did it.
