Default Scrolling Images with Popup Windows

I am currently working on a website that requires 2 scripts using the same set of images. The first one is a rollover script where the user moves their mouse over a thumbnail image which then pops up a new window showing a larger image. After the user removes their mouse from the thumbnail, the window then closes. The second is a scrolling script where the user moves their mouse over an arrow on each side, which causes the images to scroll to the left or right showing a new set of images. You can see an example of the type of images that I will be working with (middle of page) at the link below:

My goal is to be able to scroll to new images and use a mouse rollover on each one to pop up a new window. I'm guessing that Flash is the best program to use, but I'm not too familiar with it. Are there any pre-made scripts that would work or do I need to create my own? If so, which resources are the best to use?

    Thanks for your help!

I started something recently that might be of interest to you. It's not exactly what you want but I modified it a bit to have similar functionality.

I could be modified more to suit your exact needs.

If it's not a time sensitive project, I'd be happy to help you next week when I have some of my own projects over with. Otherwise, I'm sure someone else around here would be happy to help you out.

The code is a bit rough as it's a work-in-progress and I wasn't planning on releasing it. But take from it what you can. The source files are attached to the example page.

Thank you very much. I will give it a try. I have a couple weeks to get the Flash part working. The website owner just wants the basics online to be able to launch the website some time next week. Any help you or anyone else could give me would be great. Thanks!
