    Default Blocksites

    Hi all,

can anyone help me that from my office and in Saudi Arabia all sites are mostly blocked. I want to bypass the office firewall to run msn messenger version from my site. How can i do that? Any help would be appreicated. I heard that it will work if one goes to another site and then run it which will not be blocked...

This isn't an error or a problem to be fixed. Your system's administrator(s) have set that for a reason. I'm not saying I agree with them, but it's not the policy here to find ways around rules.
On top of that, if you want to keep your job, finding ways around the firewall isn't usually going to be a good plan, especially if you do it in an intelligent, intentional way.

That said, you have three options:
    1. Hack the server. Enough said. I'm not suggesting this, obviously. That's the ONLY way to re-enable those sites, to put things in perspective.
    2. Talk to the administrator. Perhaps they'll make an exception.
    3. Just give up.

However, you can try alternatives, like meebo, or using a proxy (though most proxy sites will probably be blocked). And even if you do find one, the odds are it will become blocked soon enough.

We've all had such a restriction at school, work, or elsewhere, but getting around it can be more trouble (both in doing it and the results) than just not visiting blocked sites.

Considering the nature of the question, I'm going to close this discussion, because it is not policy here, as I said, to talk about getting around rules/TOS/etc.
