Making FrogJS more Dynamic!
1) Script Title: Frog JS
2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...ogjs/index.htm
3) Describe problem: I was wondering if there was a way to make FrogJS more Dynamic. What I mean, is that I would like to make FrogJS act like a revolving carousel.
I have a hidden area of my site (unfortuately, not live yet) that will house png files of screenshots of actual files (ie. pdf's, ppt's, etc.). I want the user to be able to simply mouse left or right and scroll through the menu (images) of the files available and when they click the file they want it will prompt them to download or open.
I guess you could equat eit to being similar to mac widgets on the dashboard or something to that effect. I don't have Flash or the money to buy it at this time, so I am looking for cheap and accessible. FrogJS seems to fit the bill if I can manipulate it to work for me.
Also, how could you add a dramatic drop shadow effect to the images using CSS?

That is a very neat an innovative script, but I was looking for something more along the lines of scrolling through a postcard rack at the store. Something that continues to revolve.
I know I brought up the dashboard in my initial post, but I would like to find out if it is possible to amend the FrogJS to do the trick....

Yeah, I just thought that you might be interested in that one. Here's a thread that shows how to make the gallery loop instead of ending at the first and last images:

However, like one other famous prototype.js script (lightbox), doing this causes problems in Opera, perhaps others (the action gets choppy after a loop or two). Works well in FF and IE though.

Did you see my other post on making the footer in Image THumbnail Viewer have an opaque value? I like where the text title is, but I think it would be great with an opaque setting. I have tried to do i with CSS in the stylesheet, in the html, and in the footer call in the js file, but to no avail. Is it possible to do it?
