Manual Scroller change direction??

I can't seem to find a manual one that scrolls horizontally.

Hi,

I found a dd menu that scrolls horizontally

I can figure out how to change the content of this, but it would be so much easier if it were just possible to set up any div to be able to scroll right to left and back so I can just type in the div, or whatever it is that is being scolled rather than in the code and having it write to the scrolling area. Perhaps this should be posted in some other forum?
