Javascript SuckerTree Horizontal Menu works for FF not IE

Hi,

the above mentioned script , SuckerTree Horizontal Menu, works fine for FF , but in IE the first sub-level dropdown ,overlaps the the menu itself,

in the code, if i give
.suckertreemenu ul li ul li{
top:5px;}


or so, 5px of background(if black )dropdowns, so how to make this dropdown not to overlap the menu..
