i don't know if i can post my message here.. sorry if i post the wrong place..
anyway, i'm looking for some kind of programs

eg: when you are viewing ur friends Blogger, we actually can view their "source" to see their art works or maybe some will copy some of their stuffs.. but i know that there is a way to stop letting people copyright your own stuffs right??

i been searching high and low but can't find it.. can anyone teach me where i can find it or send me the code?? thanks for the trouble..

But tech_support is correct, you can't prevent people from stealing an image from online, there is no way, and anyone telling you it can be done is a fool. There is a way around everything.

There is ONE sure fire way to prevent image theft..

Do not put your images on the computer.

You are correct, everyone should only use basic html hexadecimal coloring on our digital publications.


But on a more serious note, Watermarks do help, but you also can look into creating a file with less resolution. Those are really the primary two tools to "deter" users from ripping off your intellectual property. What I mean by less resolution is give the user a preview of the artwork, but instead of using your 1260 dpi resolution Bitmap image, use a 96dpi gif image and put a watermark over the image. This would deter a fair majority of users with malicious intent from using your image elsewhere, because first he/she would need to crop out the watermark, then use some intensive editing software to take your low resolution file and transform it into the high-res form for additional manipulation.
