Default Possible to absolute large image borders on a centered content?

    ok, I have a page.

    http://newsalesparadigm.com/temp/6.html

now as you can see there are two pillars on the sides. I currently have it setup in tables where the tops are images and the pillar part is a image in the back of the table cell.

But is it possible to bring in those pillars and top in some so that the edge of the pillars share the same edge of the content page? (where the tan color ends).

That way the top of the pillar overlaps the page a bit.

Also, it is possible to do it so that I am not using tables for those pictures and giving the whole horizontal bar for people on low resolution screens?

    Hi there SawnDiddle,

I have put a solution in a zip file.
As it is a little larger than the permitted attachment, it can be downloaded here...
