Default DD Tab Menu - Unwanted hover effect

    1) Script Title: DD Tab Menu

    2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex1/ddtabmenu.htm

    3) Describe problem: I need a way to disable the tab mouseover or hover effect so that visitors will have to click (instead of just hovering) on the tab to see an information div below.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

Sure, try the below modified ddtabmenu.js file instead, which should change the sub menu reveal from onmouseover to onclick.

Edit: Attached the correct .js file

    Default No Change...

Thank you ddadmin for the prompt response.

Unfortunately, the dropdowntabs.js file did not have any changes from the original and the sub-menu reveal continue to change upon mouse hover.

    I appreciate your help!

    Default Cludge found

I was able to modify the script by replacing the onmouseover reference to onclick, commenting out all references to urls, and finally, removing the href attribute from the anchors.

    Thank you again.

Ops, I attached the wrong file, hence the problem. Attachment fixed, in case you're still having trouble.
