3) Describe problem: Would it be possible to add a "NEXT" , PAUSE, and PREV button to this script? How would that be done. I have a slideshow script that has the buttons, but it doesn't fade.

There's quite a few threads on this already actually (please do a search). Or better yet, you can try Swiss Army Slideshow by John, which supports this by default.
