    Question Help - I'm a n00b looking for a script...

Hi, sorry if this is a dumb question. I need to combine a fading slideshow with lightbox. What I mean is, the thumbnail image needs to cycle between a number of images and when you click on it, the lightbox appears with the correct image.

    Is such a thing possible?

Hope you can help. Thanks in advance,

    Sigol.

    Can you explain more?

The lightbox will bring up the image that you clicked as the starter if the image is part of a group the rest of the images will be secondary?

Please use a more descriptive title. "Please I'm looking for a script" isn't very inviting for someone to look at the thread

    Hi boogyman

    Thanks for your help.

I have a client who wants the following. A single image placeholder that fades every few seconds with a different image. E.g. he has 12 images and the webpage fades through them every few seconds (only one image visible on screen at a time).

That's a simple DynamicDrive fade slideshow - easy. The complication is that on top of this he also wants a lightbox, so that if you click an image in the slideshow, it pops up with the lightbox effect.

In an ideal world, the slideshow would pause until the lightbox has worked its magic and then resume when it returns to the normal page. However, this is not essential. I just need a lightbox on top of a fade slideshow.

I tried doing this but I'm not a javascript coder so I'm struggling.

Any help you can give me would be a huge benefit.

    Thanks,

    Sigol.
