Email Riddler to Goolge mail

1) Script Title: Email Riddler

3) Describe problem: When cliking on the email link on my site the link goes to Google Gmail. It does not show the actual address which would all the visitor to pick it up and take it to their own email provider.

Can I tweek the script to accomplish this, such as sending the email to Outlook which shows the address?

By default it is set to show a mailto: you@domain.com (whatever you put in the generator). Not sure why you are being redirected to gmail, can you post a link to this "problem" page?

It seems to work fine for me on my work computers and my home computers. It doesn't redirect me to gmail or anything like that. Are you just experiencing this problem on your computer, or on any other computer you try?

Hmmmm..... just my computer ... could it be that because my opening is defaulted to Google that this happens?

I don't have another computer to try it on but I will ask a friend to try it.

Where does it take you?

It doesn't take me anywhere, but instead opens up my default mail client with the email address in the "To" field. You may want to check to see if your default mail client is set to go to gmail or something to that effect.

This is why 'riddler' and similar programs aren't all that great. Spam filtering should be done on the receiving end of email. Mail sending on the web should be done server side. That way, it doesn't matter what email client, if any a user has installed.
