    Default a Dynamic dream

This is weird, but I actually had a long dream that I accidentally deleted the Dynamis Drive forums and Twey was telling me that I had better lie low for a while hehe Nope, nothing more than that :P I'm just surprised I had a dream about Dynamic Drive

People would die if the internet was gone. (Some people might die if DD was gone -- like me. ) I can't imagine how people lived without the net.

Haha, wow I've had some really geeky dreams (including a very frustrating one where I'm trying to install an OS off a CD but the machine keeps ejecting it again) but never one about DD.

I believe they had friends who weren't counted on a buddy list.

I heard a tale about a guy who, on discovering a new worm, immediately created an anti-worm that took advantage of the same security hole the worm did, breaking into the system and removing the original worm, then fixing the hole so that it wouldn't become reinfected. Unfortunately, several hours after releasing it, he discovered that there was a bug in the anti-worm's code that caused all the machines it "fixed" to crash. That's some serious embarrassment.

Ugh! Life without the internet is like a duck without sidewalks.

    I am an addict though.

Actually, it's a pretty good metaphor if I understand it correctly.

Ducks have adjusted to the modern world of human construction by making sidewalks their own, strutting down them as if they own them, and would now be lost without them as a means of transportation, though their own real purpose is that of convenience, and for millennia live has gone without them-- but, now, how could it!?

Actually, even modern ducks don't need sidewalks. No one really needs the internet either. But once you're hooked, perhaps even based your livelihood on it . . . it can be hard to do without.
