CSS Expandable vertical Menu

Hello,
I have inherited a website and the clients has asked me to add an expandable menu to their main Left Navigation. I am a newbee to CSS, however, I would like to be able to get some help on this one. The website is currently done with CSS.

If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.

is a start... if those aren't what you are looking for, try to do a search for vertical css menu on google or something to that effect

This is also good (as a start) AND easy.
The menu can be made vertical.
