Hello, I have been trying for 2 seasons now to get this working and have failed your help would be much appreciated!

I added the following line to my Header.php:

echo "<script type=\"text/javascript\" src=\"snow.js\"></script>\n\n\n";

I saved the script from the link (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex3/snow.htm) to snow.js

I edited the location as follows:

I got it, it needed to go in the header.html not header.php
