I have a spreadsheet which performs calculations, some of the results are inserted into a web page table and then uploaded to a web server.

I would like to automate the system by only uploading a file generated by Excel - perhaps an XML or csv file. A javascript in the web page would then access the file on the web server and put the data into cells in an html table.

No problem generating the file from Excel - but have little idea of how to proceed with the Javascript.

The web server does not have any scripting available.

Can anyone help?
