Firefox's "undo" command

Am I the only one who hasn't noticed Firefox's Edit->Undo feature until now? It's really handy when you're typing something in a TEXTAREA and accidentally delete or overwrite the contents. I guess I'm no power Firefox user.

I get confused when cmnd/ctrl+z does nothing. I haven't used it in the edit menu for some time. However, I am glad (though usually not aware) that this feature is in FF. It's nice. I wish there was a "get my text back" option after an accidental refresh, though. (Or a page not submitting, as is more common.)

It's part of GTK+, not Fx, as far as I'm aware. It works in every GTK+ application, whether or not there's a menu option for it.

Rather than going to a new page and going back, refresh as well will destroy the data (as you override it with the default value).

I want data protection. Perhaps I'll request that from FF next release.

What browsers can't you undo in? Even IE has this capability, not that I'd care much. Opera has it (what I use generally), and I imagine most others as well.
