    Default Text width in scroller tiny in ie

    1) Script Title: gAjax RSS Ticker

    2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...xrssticker.htm

    3) Describe problem: The width of the scrolling text is not the width of the box. This only happens in internet explorer. I can't see where it could be wrong, i have it working fine in other places but not at this box width (700px). Any ideas? You can see the problem at http://www.withnature.co.uk/lifestyle_news.php

    Hope to hear from someone who can help, many thanks.

    You cannot center absolutely positioned elements via 'align="center"' in IE without throwing things off, also, 96% apparently wasn't working, changes/additions red:

    Code:
    #example2{ /*Demo 2 main container*/
    width: 700px;
    height: 200px;
    border: 1px dashed white;
    padding: 4px;
    background-color: #565832;
    }

    #example2 div ul{ /*Demo 2 UL container*/
    margin: 0;
    padding-left: 18px;
    text-align:center;
    }
    Code:
          <div style="width:700px;margin:0 auto;text-align:left;">
            <p><font size="+1">Welcome to the With Nature
              News Portal</font><br>
              Back to '<a href="lifestyle.php">Lifestyle</a>' index
              <br>
              <img src="squiggle.gif" alt="Nature news" width="342" height="27" border="0">
            </p>
            <script type="text/javascript">

    var socialfeed=new gfeedpausescroller("example2", "example2class", 5000, "_blank")
    socialfeed.addFeed("Alan . . .

    I'm having almost the same trouble only in my case, vertically.

    When it scrolls up, it's way too high that runs our of the top border.
