Lightbox-style gallery with thumbnails accessible on picture open?

Hi,

Is there a script for a lightbox-style picture gallery which keeps the thumbnails visible and accessible while the picture is shown , sort of like a flash gallery function? (allowing to maneuver between pictures not only according to the order - next/previous, without closing the front image and going back to the thumbnails page?

Did you ever find a JS solution for this?

If so what did you do?

Just wondering, I would like to do something just like this. keeping the thumbnails so you can jump directly to the images not have to advance through them.

No I didn't. I ended up not using LB at all. You may want to check
http://jalbum.net/
for a variety of JS albums, some flash as well, and some using light box. Many albums are very nice and easy to create, with new ones added frequently.
