Layer Repositioning with OnClick Events??

I'm sure this is probably simple, but I'm not having much luck with it.

I have a navigation consisting of 3 elements as so.

Heading 1
Heading 2
Heading 3

When Heading 2 is clicked I have the other Headings on an event to hide, which works fine. The problem is I would like to have any Heading(layer) below Heading 1 when clicked to not only hide all other Headings, but to reposition itself into the location of Heading 1. And then subsequently be reverted when another heading is clicked (ie. go back to it's previous state).

I would really appreciate any help with this, very novice coder over here
