Lightbox loading slowly

1) Script Title: Lightbox image viewer 2.03

3) Describe problem: The script works fine except it does not seem to work until all the elements are loaded on the page. This includes a Flash banner and a few small images. I have a T3 connection and cannot duplicate the problem but I have had complaints. When the page first loads and the user clicks the link to view the image it just launches to the image alone in the browser. Can any one offer any advice?

That is a known issue with this script. It is especially apparent on pages with lots of stuff on them (as you say yours has) when the connection rate is less than optimal. There are several 'clones' of lightbox though, and this one (slimbox):

claims (as far as I remember) to have overcome that problem.
