    Default Fadeshow on IE6

I'm having trouble with the Fadeshow script on IE6 only.

This is the script I'm using: http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...nslideshow.htm

You can see my implementation at http://www.dopplervue.com (under the GET dVUEs banner on the far right).

When accessing the page I get an error message in line 121, which is where the script checks for IE version 6, saying:

"The specified procedure could not be found"

I haven't changed any of that code, of course, and everything works on IE 7, Firefox, and Safari.

    Any insights would be appreciated.

Are you using a 'stand alone' version of IE 6? If so, it cannot run this script (or any that require filter styles) without modifications to your system's registry. A real copy of IE 6, as the primary browser on a system will have no problem, unless any of its settings do not allow it to run the script.

Ack. That's probably it. I am indeed running the stand-alone IE6.

    Thanks for the reply!
