    Default Improved Command Prompt

I have a Windows machine, and when I use command prompt, I want to be able to copy and paste like in a text editor. I know I can right click to paste, but I want to be able to use 'ctr+v'. Instead, I get a '^V' glyph. I have no idea what that does, but I have no use for it. I also can't highlight text to copy it. Is there a Windows command prompt that allows these enhancements?

If you click on the little icon in the top left corner you can select "mark" from the menu that opens.

Then you can click and drag a bounding box around the text you want copied, then click "enter" and it is saved to the clip board.

I am not positive (and not on a windows box to test) but I think it is ctrl + shift + v to paste.

Perhaps try Console. It lists "better copy/paste support" as one of its features.

Console seems to do the job.
