Question Does YahooGeocities (free) support PHP?

    Hi all,

I recently got this simple and cool...(well, a least it was small) PHP script from David Pye's site...and i thought I would test it out on My Geocities Webpage

but I can't seem to make it work....anyone got ideas on what i'm doing wrong? It seemed simple enough...but I can't make the image appear on my webpage: it's supposed to be between the Random Webpage and Online Presence cell.

    Thanks in advance!

No. GeoCities can't do PHP, or any scripting language. Only HTML.

It allows some limited Javascript, whatever doesn't conflict with the scripts it forces onto the pages. In fact, it forces some html as well.

if he looking to know if geocities supports php, and it doesn't. it would help to know an other free host that does, helping him test his php script.

Godaddy does support php on its servers, but if you get a windows server, some functions (like the mail function) are disabled.

    Hope this helps.
