Need some advertising help..

I'm trying to create a site that is purely adverts but i don't know how to do it..

i need something like www.liweather.com

I don't think its done through google.... any ideas?

the 2 most important things here would be structure, and companies

first you need to decide the structure of the website... like what its going to look like where the advertisments are going to be, then you need some companies to advertise for.

now we cant help you with the companies, however we could help you with the structure, if you know what you want and you are having trouble doing it yourself but remember the rules of the site.... try it first, ask for help second

Whether or not its successful doesn't matter to me... I work for a media company and my boss decided to play god and buy 500000 domains for advertising. So, any way.. How would i go about finding an ad script? open source or something?

Ahh.. the old "let's buy many domains, put our add crap all over them, - them being stupid common typo domains like googel.com - and hope our ads get hits in the first 30 days. Those that do we keep, those that don't we refund our money from and start again" scam.

I thought ICANN was going to abolish mass domain purchase?

Guess not.. i think he has somewhere between 200-300 domains..

any way, how do i throw adverts up there and make us money?

Well, that's the trick isn't it? Just having ads on a random page won't make you money. People have to go to that page, and then decide to click on that ad.

75% of normal web browsers are online for a specific purpose. If they go to the wrong page they will quickly leave, without clicking anything.

The best way... have a site people want to go to, advertise your products/services and make the people want to buy them.

Get with other companies and do a link exchange.

Google Adwords.

Direct product marketing.

If your boss just wants results, buying a butt ton of ad space won't do it.
