My logo, horizontal menu and search form are absolutely positioned in the banner of my layout.

The problem is, when I resize the page, the banner content doesn't flow with the page. Instead, it shifts out of line with the column content.

Also, instead of continuing to flow with the page, the menu (which is a standard horizontal list) breaks at the end of the page.

I don't have my layout online at the moment, but I'm hoping this is a common problem that others here may have seen.
