i like the slideshow, however i think the transitions are too slow... it confused me at first... maybe speed them up like a quarter/half a second. and also your menu the V is confusing also... have you thought about using an image? i believe a little image like 15x15 or something like that will make that less confusing. maybe a little folder, or an arrow or a plus sign. but having the V at first glance looks like a typo. just my two cents.

This applies to at least two of the scripts on your page:

Your page is in violation of Dynamic Drive's usage terms, which, among other things, state that the script credit must appear in the source code of the page(s) using the script. Please reinstate the notice first.

You are using a slightly modified version of DD's Ultimate Fade-in Slide Show. However, it has been updated. Your version only fades in IE, Mozilla based browsers and very old Safari. The updated version fades in all browsers that support any type of style or filter opacity. It may be found here:

    The site looks nice!

    Cheers for the feed back.
@ boogyman - I dont know why the V is showing on the menus, I have had a quick look at the code and cant see anything wrong but I will have a closer look later. Also on my list of things to do it change the slideshow at the start, I was waiting till I got a database going with my photos in before I began that though, and now I have just got the database up and running I can work on the front page.

@ jscheuer1 - I'v added the Script Usage things sorry for removing them let me know if I have missed any on any pages. Thanks for letting me know about the update. But as I said above I was going to change the front page anyway.

that is where the v is coming from. I suggest possibly umcommenting and using an image rather then the default

now in my quest to find that, i came across the fact that without javascript your site displays nothing but the footer. that isnt very accessible to people that have javascript turned off. especially since not even the site name or header is displayed

If everything is changing, why did you ask for feedback before you set things up as they are going to be?

    Good Photos!

Just don't use underlines on text! It makes it look like a link, and is confusing if you don't know it's a heading.

Other than that, the site seems fine!
