Erm.. Help?

No idea if this is even the right place to be..

But I bought the CS3 design package and it installs everything but photoshop.
It says Photoshop CS3 cannot be installed because it conflicts with Photoshop CS3.
Yet I have no photoshop on my computer. Does -anyone- know what I need to do? I paid 400 bucks for this program package and I cant use it.

I'd contact adobe. There's no way for anyone here to answer the question unless they have had a similar experience.
Best of luck getting it to work, though. That's all I can say.
Do a clean uninstall then try again, or even reformat, but there's no guarantee based on what you said.

it could be that someone else installed a photoshop trial and just deleted it, leaving registry entries of it intact?

Not to say that I'm directly accusing you of something, but the price for PS CS3 is $650 at the adobe site.
Maybe you got an educational discount, found a used version, or bought it off a friend, and that is just fine; however, if there is any chance the source is less than reputable or official, then I'd say it might be corrupt.
