Problems with Interstitial Content Box

3) Describe problem: I am having a couple of problems. First, the Interstitial Content Box does not seem to work correctly in IE7. I am using IE 7.0.5730.11. When I try to view the Interstitial Content Box in IE7 at http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...terstitial.htm, the page loads, but then freezes for about 10 to 15 seconds. It then shows the Interstitial Content Box, but the page and interstitial then freeze again for about another 10 to 15 seconds. You can't really interact at all with the Interstitial Content Box because it is so slow in IE7. Once you click the "Close" button on the Interstitial Content Box in IE7, it then takes about 10 more seconds to close it. Why is this happening? Isn't this script supposed to work in IE7? What changes might need to be made to the script so that it works in IE7? Or is it just in this specific version of IE7 that the Interstitial Content Box does not work?

The second problem is that some of my ads show over the Interstitial Content Box. You can see an example of this if you go to http://www.cheatcc.com/interstitial_test.html. How can I prevent this from happening?

The issue with the ads showing over it is a known bug/limitation, but what you're describing with the slowness in IE7 shouldn't happen. Are you getting that sluggishness even on the DD demo page itself? FYI I'm using the exact version of IE7, and don't experience what you're describing. Not aware of other people receiving it either.

The problem with IE7 is happening on my wife's laptop in the version I specified when I go to http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...terstitial.htm. However, I had someone else with a different version of IE7 view the Interstitial Content Box, and they did not experience any problems. I guess it must be a problem with my wife's computer and not the browser version if you are not experiencing the problem in the same version of IE7.

As for my ads showing over the Interstitial Content Box, is there any possible way to fix this bug? Thanks!

I just tried to implement the solution found at http://www.dynamicdrive.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=17368, but it did not fix the problem. I implemented the change on the http://www.cheatcc.com/interstitial_test.html page. Can you please take a look and see why it did not work? What else can I do to eliminate this bug/problem? Thanks!
