Loading content onto iframe

ok jw ... i saw this when i first came here but i can't find it

i have an iframe on my site to show the main content ... well what i want is when i click a link on the nav that it load the link in the iframe ... and not have to reaload the whole page with a new iframe pointing at the page i want ...
