"Textual Tooltip Script"

Hi i've been searching a while for this information and im hoping any of you guys is able to help me out here.

I'm using this script (eventhough my javascript skills are pretty much non existent) and it works quite well for me, apart from the fact that there is no OnMouseOut defined for the image rollover.

On image rollover it gets a piece of code from the change content part of the script, which means a piece of text changes on the page. However, my problem with this is that i cannot figure out a way to make the script check which content is currently used, so it can be reloaded.

In other words: text is set to a certain value (say "A"), on mouseover text changes (to say "B"), on mouseout text stays as on mouseover (which i only want when the link is activated), and i want it to go back to its prior state (which i, due to the amount of contents do not want to do manually).
