Default Using Ultimate Fade-In Slideshow with resized pics

    1) Script Title: Ultimate Fade-In Slideshow (v1.51)

    2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...nslideshow.htm

    3) Describe problem: I'm using the script on my main page and its very effective. What I'd like to do now is use it on a different page but have the pictures scaled down to a smaller size. I have a large number of pictures that are around 400 by 800. I want to redisplay them is four separate groups (within a table) but at 100 by 200 px. Is there some way to do this without having to resize all my pics?

    Thanks

Due to a number of web dynamics like, but not limited to bandwidth and the often poor quality of browser image scaling, a better question would be:

Is there an easy way to resize a large number of images?

The answer to which is yes. There are many, many programs that can do that. Several are even available for free on the web. Make sure to use one that can do high quality resize (usually bilinear re-sampling). My favorite (not free) is image optimizer pro. Paint Shop, The Gimp (free), and Photoshop all have batch image processing as well.
