AJAX Tabs Page Linking

I have a series of pages using the Ajax tabs script. I'm looking for a way to link from my index.html page to a specific tab on another HTML page (services.html for example).

Examples:

If I place a text link "for more information" on my index.html page within tab three of five, can I link to tab number two on my services.html page?

If I place an image link on my index.html page outside the tab structure, can I link to tab number three on my services.html page?

Using spry, can I link from a drop-down menu to a specific tab on a second page?

Please advise.
