I like the top of the line Mac Pro, for around $32,999.

It's got, as I recall--
32GB RAM
approx. 3 TB space (more?), across 8 HD bays
3.5ghz quad core processors (approx)
2 Superdrives

And a bit more. Then you can add a monitor and stuff.

Most of that cost is the RAM. Crazy.

I like the top of the line Mac Pro, for around $32,999.

Considering it has half the ram and is a considerable fraction of the price of the PC version, that's not too impressive. I'd take the PC one. Ten-monitor array? You could use that as wallpaper

Space, speed, support, screen, sound...
* Space: 500 GB + 500 GB + 500 GB + 750 GB + 320 GB + 160 GB + 160 GB + 160 GB + 160 GB + 240 GB + 240 GB + 240 GB + 240 GB + 320 GB + 320 GB + 320 GB + 320 GB = 5.45 TB. Which is a lot of space.
* Speed: 6 GHz is a lot (2 * 3 GHz) and 64 GB is a lot of RAM.
* Support: 4 years is longer than the average life span of a desktop PC.
* Screen: 29240 x 1600 is a lot of space for windows. (14-monitor array)
* Sound: 30W is a lot of sound and 45 Hz-20KHz covers practically all sounds.

Not that much... I've met single-cores that reach 6GHz. Still, the RAM means it outweighs djr33's Mac one anyway

That much RAM would go unnoticed, really, in either case.
I think they're both absolutely insane.
But it's just funnty to go on the Mac site and make the dropdown menus go to the highst level, then see how much it actually costs.

What's more scary, though, is that Dell actually sells this as a specific product.
