I am doing a research project on Linus Torvalds and I cant seem to find out what hes working on now. I mean he obviously is over seeing Linux in General but does anyone know of any side projects hes workin on or a major development?

Nah, he quit in 2003. Now hes workin with the Linux Foundation but I didn't know if there was a major project or breakthrough underway.

I don't know. Ask him perhaps, or maybe linux-kernel: that's probably where it'll be if there's anything big going on. You could also read kernel-devel.
