Default block drag and drop of images

Ive seen on some sites where they have a script that blocks dragging and dropping of images to desktop. When you drag an image from site, only a white box appears instead of the image. Ive tried searching but cannot find anything on the web or this site. Anyone have any idea how this is done?

Id also like to block print scrn if at all possible.

Please read: What you CANNOT do with JavaScript

You may be able to prevent image stealing by complete n00b users, but if people want your images, they can get them. There's no way around that. Print Screen you are certainly not going to get around. In the end it is easier to just forget about it. If it's on the Internet, you can find a way of saving it to your local machine.

The foolproof way to steal images is to use a mac. nothing blocks it on there. or screen cap. (I'm not suggesting this... just stating a fact.)
Either way, won't happen. See that thread. Locking this one now.
