Default Iframe SSI script II not working in Opera

I have set up the "Iframe SSI script II" from the dynamic drive site as per the instructions and it doesn't work in Opera 8 or 9. Nothing at all appears unless I set the - var iframehide="yes" - from yes to no, but then it doesn't adjust the height and cuts out the width as well.

It works great in IE, FF, NS, but not Opera (on Win XP).

Any suggestions on to how to get this to work? As mentioned, I have followed the instructions.

That script is not rated for Opera.

This might work out for you:

Thanks for your reply. According to the compatibility panel on the website it is - Opr7+: Opera 7 and above.

Anyway, I've tried the one from your link and it works perfectly. Thank you for your help, I really appreciate it.

You're welcome. Just a note on the compatibility panel. What you are referring to:

    Compatibility
    • IE5+: IE 5 and above
    • FF1+: Firefox 1.0+.
      NS6+ and FF beta are
      assumed as well.
    • Opr7+: Opera 7
      and above.
is simply the compatibility key that appears on the bottom left of all script pages. The actual rating appears top right on the same line as the script title:

    :: Iframe SSI script II
    FF1+ IE5+

    Hello,

has anyone ever used and tested that version of the script?
    http://www.dynamicdrive.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=28370

I have tested it and it seems to work and the "no execute" feature works with Opera browsers. The official version II of the Iframe SSI script unfortunately does not work with Opera browsers and I am wondering if that inofficial version III could be a candidate for being included to the code library.
