I am suposed to design a site for luxury items. Has anyone seen designs that "show" exclusiveness and $$, to give me ideas, as I am so out of inspiration ...

These are indeed luxury brands, but their sites are 'normal'. What I'm looking for is a site design, where you feel that it is about the richest among us. Not the content is important, but the looks of the site.

Depends on how you design it.

Dark sites are hard to pull off. They can look excellent if done properly, but they're very easy to do badly.
