Is there any freeware that allows you to increase the volume of an mp3 by outputting a new file? I have a few songs that are recorded at a low volume, and it is annoying when I have them in a playlist with songs that have a higher volume.

yep...but there's a 'don't allow clipping' option, where audacity will amplify it just enough.

Alright, thanks. I'll try using it, and if I have any questions, I'll return.
