    Default Send UDP packets

    Hi,
I was wanting to send custom udp packets via a webpage button.
    ie.

Push a button and send a UDP packet "hello world" to IP: 192.168.0.45 via Port: 1000.

Would any one have an example, or can this not be done?

    Regards
    Craig

Can't be done via Javascript, it can only handle HTTP requests. You'd have to send an HTTP request to the server serving the page and have that send the data via UDP instead.

I must ask, though: why UDP? It's liable to make things a lot difficult for you in the long run. UDP is generally used in very specialised situations, particularly those where performance is critical. Otherwise, use TCP.
