Default no right click browser specific on Mac?

RE: DD noright script at: http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex9/noright.htm

Using this script from my Mac I find that it disables the download function in Safari, the Apple browser, but not in IE 5.2 for Mac. (No right button here but normal control-click is affected this way) Is this normal behavior for the script or is it likely something I am doing?

I have no Mac to test on but, looking at the script it seems IE5 will have only button 2 disabled (right click). No effect on ctrl-left click. Is that what you are saying? I'm really not sure I understand what you are saying. Anyways, Safari was not addressed by the original script writer so behavior there would be according to its peculiarities. Probably nothing on a Mac was tested. One other interesting fact - IE5 Mac is different than IE5 Win in certain ways that may affect the way this script works. But, if you are worried about protecting your source, don't publish, there is no foolproof protection.

Hi. A friend tested the script on his PC and it works fine so it will suit my purpose, which is just to remind people of what I don't want downloaded. btw what happens in current Mac OS is to get the pop-up menu you hold the mouse down while pressing the bottom right keyboard key which is called Control. The script disables this in Safari, Apple's own browser and also disables the right click on a Windows machine. I'm happy now.
