center page and fluid bottom

hey guys,

i am working on a site (of course). things are pretty great although i have 3 problems.

1) looks nice in firefox but doesnt display right in IE. *RESOLVED*
2) center page using CSS
3) add a footer that will move fluidly with the page, ie) i add more content the footer moves down to be the bottom... without me mainly adjusting the postion each time....
