Is there any way I can work on a file created in Flash 9 in Flash 8?

Is there any way to open a flash file created in Flash 9.0 CS3 with Flash 8?

I have Flash 9 at work, but only Flash 8 at home, and I need to work on this project today. I can't download the trial version of 9 here either, because it doesn't seem to work on Windows 2000.

Any ideas?

Depends on the way it was saved.

You can save a file in CS3 to be compatible with Flash 8.

If you're using AS 3.0, then you're out of luck. AS 3.0 isn't supported in Flash 8.
