Java Video Player

Hello! I am new to Java Applets and Java, I was wondering if someone could tell me if it is possible for me to be able to make a Video Player which can either use a playlist or just regular coding?
I have a file with all the images (of the buttons and what the panel would look like with all the buttons and gismos in place. Unfortunitly all the images I have (including on and off states) are bigger than can be uploaded.
