Question Refresh a txt file thats been updated

Ok so here's the deal. I have a .php file that you can add text to and it saves it in the .txt file... this text file is also used by a Flash program. My problem comes in that when I go to view the file from the Flash program the .txt file doesnt show the recently added stuff. Its only when i specificaly go to the text file on my webpage and refresh it and go back to my Flash program that it shows the new stuff. Any ideas on how i could fix this?

Let me know if there's anything that doesnt make sense.

    Exclamation alrighty

ok so its been awhile and no response... so has any one else had this sort of problem? Or if you dont have the problem please let me know what you did for adding text to your text file.

And if are having the same problem I'd at least like to know that im not the only one having this problem. I can explain it again.. i update a (add text to) text file using php and the file doesnt actually update... its updated on the server but when i go to view the text file with a flash program I made it doesnt have the newly added text. Even when i go to the url of the text file it doesnt have the new text but once im at the url of the text file and refresh it, it shows the added text. Thanks-

Are you viewing it with a "flash program" or are you viewing the site using a browser which uses flash? I know when I update my website, I have to refresh certain browsers before the changes appear.

    Question

I have an .swf that I created with Flash MX 2004 on my website that uses the text file. I hope that answers your question.
