Protect image directory

Hi everyone

Sorry i wasn't sure what section to post this thread in

Could anyone advise me how to go about protection my image directory - so that people can view the pics on the site, but not download them?

Meaning, they cant go www.mysite.com/images/

1. Put a blank index.html file in the images folder.
2. Configure your host to disable hot-linking.
