    Default Fade-in slideshow + Firefox + Centering

    I can't figure out why the Fade-in Slideshow javascript display will not "center" on the page....
    It does center when using IE, but not with Firefox -

    http://www.srswim.org

    <center>
    <script language="JavaScript1.2" src="fading.txt">
    </script>
    </center>

    Any ideas.

    Code:
    <center>
    <h2>Steeple Run Stingrays Swim Team
    <br>
    - <a href="http://www.srswim.org">www.SRswim.org</a> - </h2><!-- IMG  alt="" src="steeple_run_logo1.gif" border=0 --><!-- IMG alt="logo" border="2" src="stingray2004b.jpg" -->
    <center>
    <script language="JavaScript1.2" src="fading.txt">
    </script>
    </center>
    Could be the two opening center tags with only one closing center tag. Worth a shot, try it like this:
    Code:
    <center>
    <h2>Steeple Run Stingrays Swim Team
    <br>
    - <a href="http://www.srswim.org">www.SRswim.org</a> - </h2><!-- IMG  alt="" src="steeple_run_logo1.gif" border=0 --><!-- IMG alt="logo" border="2" src="stingray2004b.jpg" -->
    <script language="JavaScript1.2" src="fading.txt">
    </script>
    </center>
    or even like this:
    Code:
    <center>
    <h2>Steeple Run Stingrays Swim Team
    <br>
    - <a href="http://www.srswim.org">www.SRswim.org</a> - </h2><!-- IMG  alt="" src="steeple_run_logo1.gif" border=0 --><!-- IMG alt="logo" border="2" src="stingray2004b.jpg" -->
    <script language="JavaScript1.2" src="fading.txt">
    </script>
    as I see you have a center closing tag way down in your HTML code.

    BTW - I just tried it with Netscape 7.0,
    and it works - the Fade-in images are centered.
    This surprised me, as I would have thought that Firefox
    and Netscape 7.0 would have interpreted the page
    in the same manner.....

    Doesn't work in NS7.2 though, not here.

    OK, fixed it! Change this:
    HTML Code:
    <p>
    <img align=left alt=magic height=106 src="magic100.gif" width=75>
    <img align=right alt=qmarks height=106 src="qmark50.gif" width=75>
    </p>
    to this:
    HTML Code:
    <p style=position:absolute>
    <img align=left alt=magic height=106 src="magic100.gif" width=75>
    <img align=right alt=qmarks height=106 src="qmark50.gif" width=75>
    </p>
